"My greatest joy in pasturing is to watch the restructuring of peoples lives, so they become victoriously faithful to Christ and their community" - Pastor James Bean Pastor James Bean accepted Christ into his life in 1975 at Bibleway Church of God's Word in Gary, Indiana. It was here that he met and married his wife of twenty-five years Pearline. Over the next thirteen years he dedicated himself fully to learning God's word and assisting Pastor RJ Nelson in his ministry, and was ordained a deacon in 1978, and an elder in 1981. Answering to God's call, Pastor Bean and his family moved to Minnesota in 1987. Unaccustomed to the cold winters, but captivated by the numerous opportunities and the needs of local communities. He and his family decided to remain in Minnesota, and in the same year he began his ministry in the city of Burnsville. Since beginning his ministry nearly fifteen years ago, Pastor Bean has gone on to obtain his BA degree in Social Work, with a minor in Theology from Augsburg College. In December of 2002, Pastor Bean completed his Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Minnesota. Community Involvement: Consultant for Eagan & Burnsville Senior High School Assistant coach BAC football & basketball. Served as a panel committee member for the Weed & Seed committee.
